The Department of Public Works is responsible for the Town’s year-round road maintenance, sidewalks, Town-owned properties and land, street lights, drainage system, engineering, refuse and recycling collection/disposal, water distribution, water meters, wastewater system, buildings and parks maintenance, fleet maintenance, traffic signage and striping, bridges, and dams.

The Department of Public Works has six divisions, 21 full-time employees, and 2 part-time employees. The divisions consist of:

• Administration
• Engineering
• Operations (Highway, Buildings & Grounds, Fleet)
• Sanitation (Recycling, Refuse Disposal)
• Water
• Wastewater
