HELPFUL HINTS

  • To help reduce the amount of space required for storage of recyclables:
    • Flatten milk jugs
    • Crush tin and aluminum cans
    • Bundle corrugated cardboard, cut in 2' x 2' squares
    • Flatten cereal boxes, shoe boxes, etc. and place with junk mail and magazines in separate paper bag from newspapers.
  • Additional "blue boxes" may be purchased at the Public Works Office for $8.50 each.
  • In bad weather, please cover the recycling bin to keep paper recyclables dry.
  • Refuse bags/cans and recycling bins are to be at your curb no later than 7:00 am.
  • Refuse containers must be waterproof.
