Dear Planning Board:

With so little left for the residents of Durham to decide as far as the massive buildings being constructed 
everywhere in the downtown district, at least we can have a voice in the signs that go on the buildings.

In my opinion, the ones proposed in the photos are in poor taste and detract from the downtown area.  
Something with a little more class and design and character would enhance the building instead make it 
look like a strip mall.

Others have offered suggestions with which I agree, specifically Dudley Dudley’s suggestions.
