Dear Michael,

I recommend that the Planning Board require that the star decorations along the side of the building be 
retained as part of the final design approval.  This design element will make for a more architecturally 
attractive project.  The owner agreed to the star decorations as part of the Planning Board approval 
process, and there is no practical reason to eliminate them at this time.  The owner¹s architect, Shannon 
Alther, concurs that the star design element will enhance the design.
