It would seem to violate most of the criteria for conditional use permitting. I have difficulty divining what the developers were thinking with this latest conceptual disaster. I’m baffled and appalled, in roughly equal measure. Finally, this very preliminary conceptual plan would seem to be a return to the design review phase, which was closed months ago. I continue to hope for a resolution to redevelopment that will be acceptable to the developers, to the town and its citizens, and to the environment. Continuing thanks to the members of the Planning Board for working toward a fifty-year plan that will benefit all.
