I previously lived in Canton, NY where I was on the Canton Central School Board for 13 years, 5 as president; Canton Village Board for 9 years, 4 years as mayor.
I have been on the Durham Public Library Board for the last 8 years, as an alternate trustee 2014-16 and then as an elected trustee 2016-22. I have been Chair of the Board for the last three years.
Reason for Interest in Running for Elected Office:
The Durham Public Library is at the heart of the community and is an invaluable resource. I’m excited about the expanding range of services offered and the growing potential of the Library to enhance life in the Durham community. I would like to continue serving as trustee as future plans are implemented.
