Previous Service on Governmental/Community/Civic Boards, Commissions, Committees, or Organizations.
For nearly a year I have been serving as an alternate on the Town’s Planning Board.  It has awarded me the opportunity to become involved in the town and gain valuable experience within our local government. Being a member of this board has allowed me to better understand town ordinances and to understand the diverse concerns of individuals in our community.

For the last 6 months I have been a member of the Safety Committee at Exeter Hospital. We meet monthly to go over incidents involving safety within the hospital and determine ways to improve both patient and employee safety through newsletters and training.

I was the Head Coach of Stonehill Men’s Rugby Team from the fall of 2017 to the spring of 2019.  During that time I transitioned the team into a new league were they are currently competing. I helped teach the great game of rugby to both new and experienced players. I was responsible for maintaining practice plans, game plans, and appointing team captains. During my final season as head coach we made it to the playoffs for both the fall 15’s season and the spring 7’s season.

While attending Regis College I was elected Treasurer of the Nuclear Medicine Club.  I was tasked with keeping a financial log of the club to ensure that when we held events we did not overextend our budget as well as maintaining a record of money brought into the clubs fund from both donations and fundraisers.

Reason for Interest in Running for Elected Office
When my wife and I were looking for our home, we were determined to find something in the NH seacoast.  After months of searching and some failed attempts at the home buying process, we finally struck gold here in Durham.  Throughout my life I always had desire to give back and serve my community.  In middle school and high-school I was an alter server for our church and in college I was a member of the Big Brother Program at the local YMCA.  Before we settled down in Durham, my wife and I moved around within the Boston area. Work constraints during our early years made it very difficult to find time to devote myself to a community.  I am so thankful to call Durham home.  My wife Kaitlyn and I are expecting our first child in July and I cannot describe how excited I am to take on the next chapter in our life here.

Moving to Durham thus far has provided me the opportunity to serve our community as an alternate on the Planning Board.  I want to continue to serve this town. I truly believe one of the best ways to give back and ensure that Durham remains a wonderful town is to run for Town Council.  During the last 11 months I have been gaining more experience in our government. That time coupled with my current work experience leads me to believe I am a perfect candidate to take on this role.  As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, I am committed to doing my job right, with integrity and honesty.  This proves true, as I have been given increased responsibilities during my career.  I am committed to addressing the various needs of our community while maintaining a balanced fiscal policy. If elected to Town Council my strong traits will enable me to transition into this new role.

With your support I am looking forward to serving our great community.
