7. 15 Newmarket Road – Tideline Public House.  Modification to approved plan to allow: 1) container units to be used for food service, 2) a change in the approved gutters, and 3) a change in the porch lattice to vertical slats.  The July 7 HDC approval is to convert the building and site into a tap room, restaurant, retail store and food truck court at the old Durham Town Offices.  Scott and Karen Letourneau, applicants.  Mike Sievert, Horizons Engineering.  Nick Isaak, architect.  Map 108, Lot 69. 8. Huddleston Hall Addition.  Main Street (next to Quad Way).  Opportunity to provide nonbinding comments on UNH project for partial renovations to the existing Huddleston Hall and a 3,500 addition on the westerly side of the building to create a new home for the University’s Honors College.  Presented pursuant to RSA 674:54. This meeting of the Historic District/Heritage Commission will be conducted in Council Chambers.  A quorum must be physically present in order to hold the meeting.  Individual commission members may participate via zoom provided special procedures are followed.

Public Comments.  The public is welcome to speak about any specific agenda item when that item comes up on the agenda and about any other appropriate subject during Public Comments time.

HDC/HC.  HDC stands for Historic District Commission.  HC stands for Heritage Commission.  The commission is one body with two roles.  The HDC reviews applications in the Historic District.  The Heritage Commission’s broader role is to promote historic preservation throughout Durham.
