PUBLIC HEARING on Resolution for $13,500 LCHIP Grant for Planning Study at WHF

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING              

At its meeting on Monday, June 6, 2022, at 7:00 PM, The Durham Town Council will hold a Public Hearing on a resolution authorizing the acceptance and expenditure of $13,500 in unanticipated revenue from the NH Land and Community Heritage Investment Program (LCHIP) for a planning study to be conducted on the historic character and preservation values of the 1804 Bickford-Chesley House at Wagon Hill Farm.

The Town Council will be meeting in Council chambers. Members of the public may participate via Zoom teleconferencing or in-person. Participants desiring to attend via Zoom must pre-register for the meeting and may do so by going to the Town of Durham website, www.ci.durham.nh.us. On the homepage at the left is a box with “Latest News”. Under that box, click on “Zoom Video Conference Meetings”; then click on the Town Council meeting link to pre-register.

The proposed resolution is available for viewing in the Administrator’s Office located on the second floor of the Town Hall at 8 Newmarket Road during normal office hours 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, or on the town website at www.ci.durham.nh.us.
