About Us
The Trustees of the Trust Funds primary function is to administer the funds held in the Town's trusts and reserve accounts,
Many of the Town's trusts are small, ranging in size from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars and are concerned with the care and maintenance of small burial grounds and grave sites. Other trusts and reserves support Town operations and capital projects. All of the monies in our custody are in an investment account with the Cambridge Trust Company's wealth management department. Our Cambridge Trust investment advisor assists us in managing the investment portfolio to maximize safety while providing for capital growth and current income. It is important that the portfolio provide income to accomplish present day trust and reserve purposes, while at the same time providing for sufficient growth of principal to ensure future income will be sufficient to continue to provide for accomplishing those purposes.
We also help manage the Doe Farm and therefore are members of the Town's Land Stewardship Sub-Committee.
