Electrical Codes

The 2020 National Electrical Code is the currently adopted electrical code for the State of New Hampshire. The 2020 NEC has been signed into law as the State adopted Electrical Code and should be used for all design standards and installations. The code can be purchased through NFPA NEC at https://www.nfpa.org, 1-800-344-3555. Electrical permits are required for all work and can be obtained in Durham Town Hall, M-F 8am to 5pm
