Project Storm Drain: Online Stormwater Observation Form
The Department of Public works wants to hear about your observations of the stormwater flowing into and out of the catch basins and culverts in your neighborhood or elsewhere in Durham. However, we do not respond to anonymous reports. All information will be kept confidential. Please provide your current and correct contact information and an accurate description of the location of your observations so we may accurately respond to and address potential problems. When reporting your observations, aim towards a concise physical description of the stormwater including color, an estimation of flowrate (i.e. light, moderate, heavy), odor, or anything else you feel is important such as apparent damage, or erosion, etc. It is our goal to investigate all problems as soon as possible. Please check the box below if you need a follow-up reply and we will at least send a brief email reply within 5 working days of your report.
