For your convenience, we offer dog licensing online. All dogs must have a valid rabies vaccination to obtain a license, which may be uploaded or emailed to the clerk's office. To avoid a late charge of $1/month please register your dog by May 31st. Dog tags are available after January 1st every year.
After you request a dog license online or through the mail, it is processed and mailed to you. As always, you may come into the clerk's office to get a license during our normal business hours.
New Hampshire law requires all dogs age 3 months and older be licensed every year. The license period is May 1st through April 30th. You must show proof that the dog has a valid rabies vaccination at the time of registration.
License fees are as follows:
Unaltered Male or Female $10.00
Spayed or Neutered Dog $7.50
Senior Citizen Owner (65+)--first dog $2.00
Late Fee Beginning June 1 (per month) $1.00
Cats do not require a license.
