Online Property Tax & Utilities Pay
Online Bill Pay
As part of our commitment to provide citizens with efficient, convenient services, the Town of Durham, NH has partnered with EB2Gov® to offer secure online payments for property tax, water and/or sewer bills. Your payment information is sent electronically to us, eliminating the need for you to mail us a paper check.
EB2Gov®, the online payment service provider, charges a $1.50 transaction fee for each transaction processed, plus a payment processing fee associated with the payment type you choose.
Payment options:
Starting on April 1st, 2023, fees will be adjusted as follows:
Online transaction fees: $1.75 per item (previously $1.50)
Credit card processing fees: 2.99% (previously 2.79%)
Minimum credit card fee & flat ACH fees: $2.50
E-Check payments: $1.50 per payment
A non-refundable convenience fee will be assessed to you for EACH online transaction (this fee is to our processor not the Town).

How Does This Work?
Our service is only available to Durham residents who wish to pay their property tax, water or sewer bill.
Please have the following items handy before continuing:
- Your property tax and/or water/sewer bill for your map and lot number
- A valid email address (the system needs this for you to continue)
- Your checking account information or credit card
Your payment information will be sent electronically to the Tax Collector's Office. Typically payments made online will appear on your bank or credit card statement within 2-3 business days.

For convenience, the Town of Durham now provides you with several ways to pay your property tax bill.
- Online with ACH or Credit Card
- US mail using the envelope provided, postmarked by the due date. Otherwise, please mail payment to:

Account balances shown online are updated periodically by batch, please allow 2-3 business days for payments to be processed.
